What's Your Morning Fuel?

So many ways to start the day but what’s your favorite?

Is it a cold fountain pop from the convenience store or do you go extra with a homemade cappuccino?

I like to get into the office early where I French press a large cup of blonde roast coffee, then add some steamed milk and sugar before I grab my vape and dig into the never ending stream of work email.

Well i usually make a latte with some honey instead of sugar, for that i usually use a coffee called blue java is a light dark roast. I take that to my computer and go through discord haze club and some emails.

On days I have to work I hit the alarm button about 5 times because it is so hard to get out of bed when its nice and toasty. On the 5th alarm I jump up and rush to the bathroom to get ready as fast as I can and rush to work. Once there I take my 200mg caffeine pill and eat breakfast and attempt to wake up within the hour of being at work. If I am not working it all depends.

Me too! Jet alert. Although, I take it before hopping in the shower. I was taking two 200mg. One in the morning and one after lunch. I cut out the one after lunch.

We’ll when I wake up it’s always straight to the toilet to poop. But then I open 88 to say hello to everyone, then discord, then browse haze club. After all that shower time and head to work. Pop an amp eat lunch and work 😉

My go to is a cold brew coffee with some almond milk, caramel and vanilla flavoring. Been trying to cut out coffee with a chocolate protein shake. But if I’m feeling lazy I’ll just stop by the Dunkin that’s conveniently right next to my job.

My ideal morning fuel is no breakfast apart from a bulletproof coffee (8oz hot watter, double shot espresso, 2tsp unsalted butter, 1tsp mct oil)

Followed 2 hours later by single shot latte

My friend who passed this summer always went on about putting butter in his coffee and I thought he was off his rocker!

Now that a true coffee expert has endorsed this method I’ll have to give it a try 🙂

Up at 2:30 am hit the pooper then make a cup of coffee and head out. Once coffee is gone I drink two ale-8 on the way to the job site. No food till lunch at 11:30 then work till 3:00pm and head home

I don’t drink soda anymore but Ale 8 is one of those obscure but tasty beverages I enjoy every so often.

Waking up for me is like 3 alarms going off, to the bathroom. Then off to the kitchen for 3 to 4 cups of coffee 3 tablespoons of sugar and creamer. Off to work and 3 to 4 Monsters or Rockstars depending throughout the day with Dr. Pepper as my carried in a cup.

Dang man. My blood pressure would be through the roof with that much caffeine.

Actually the use of butter in coffee and tea has been around for a very very long time. The man that re-introduced the bulletproof style of coffee to the states a decade ago, picked up the practise from tribes in the Himalayas, its common usage in places that don't have electricity to use butter as a means of storing milk. In bulletproof the oil structure of the butter and mct oil allows for a greater breakdown of our body fat at a much more efficient rate for energy production. That was key to it becoming a staple part of the gym culture as a meal replacement in place of breakfast and early snack.

Yeah I don’t see it often, but I first saw it’s several years ago in hawaii at a popular food truck/stand. That’s how they serve their coffee and it’s really popular.

Its best with espresso style coffee, a touch of water and 2 motel sized chunks of unsalted butter the better the butter the creamier the experience. Warning it takes a couple days to get used to, but the sensation of the oily mouth feel plus the energy factor is second only to adding in the MCT oil. You should get around 4 hours of energy from 1 cup and no crash after that, but rather tapering off.

Does it upset the stomach at all? Using the mct oil and butter or no? Also I know you said unsalted butter but is there a specific type of butter you use? We bought amish churned butter and I wonder if that would work. I just want to try it. I like coffee on cold days so I am very intrigued by this butter concept.
